Replit Cloud Agents open tested pull requests

By Steven Van ·

Replit Cloud Agents turn a plain-language change into a tested pull request on an existing repo for Pro and Enterprise customers.

On October 27, Replit opened Cloud Agents for existing repositories to every Pro and Enterprise customer. Describe a change, and the agent finds the code, shows a live preview, and opens a GitHub pull request or a GitLab merge request. An engineer still approves.

Replit’s blog says the agent follows team skills, tests in an isolated sandbox, and can attach screenshots and video. It can apply review feedback. Turning those reviews into skills is early access. Slack messages to @Replit are available to all customers. Microsoft Teams is coming soon, and the mobile app can start a pull request.

On X, Replit said its design team shipped more than 250,000 lines this way. The blog says workspace memory cut token use by 51 percent and a data task from 16 minutes to one. There is no separate Cloud Agents price.
