The React Bits text marquee gains a crossing second band, drag and fling control, scroll-driven speed and reversal, and outlined letters.
Text Loop, the React Bits text animation that flows a marquee along curved SVG paths, has been updated with a second band, drag and fling interaction, and scroll-driven speed.
What changed
- A second band can be added that crosses the first in an X, with a soft shadow.
- The loop can be dragged or flung.
- Page scrolling can speed the loop up or reverse it.
- Letters can now be drawn as outlines.
Installing it
The component is available through the shadcn CLI, for example npx shadcn@latest add @react-bits/TextLoop-TS-TW. The page offers JavaScript or TypeScript variants, with plain CSS or Tailwind.
