Updated: Sticker Peel

By Steven Van ·

The rebuilt React Bits component lifts the edge nearest the cursor, lets stickers be thrown, and offers gloss, matte and holographic finishes.

Sticker Peel has been rebuilt in React Bits, with a new curl effect, soft shadows and no extra dependencies. The updated component is a die-cut sticker that can be peeled at any edge, dragged, thrown and swung.

Peel and throw behaviour

The edge nearest the cursor lifts, so the peel starts wherever the pointer approaches. Thrown stickers swing, slide and bounce.

Finishes

The sticker comes in three finishes: gloss, matte and holographic.

Installation

The component can be added with the shadcn CLI. The page offers JavaScript or TypeScript, and plain CSS or Tailwind. The TypeScript and Tailwind version installs with npx shadcn@latest add @react-bits/StickerPeel-TS-TW.
