Soft Aurora's band now follows a nearby cursor, pulses on click and blooms in, with new presets, a tilt option and no added dependencies.
The React Bits Soft Aurora background has been updated so the aurora band reaches toward a nearby cursor.
What changed
- The band reaches toward the cursor when it is nearby.
- Clicks send a pulse of light along the band.
- The band blooms in from a thin line.
- New presets, a tilt option and a cleaner light mode.
The update adds no extra dependencies.
Install
Soft Aurora is a shader built on 3D Perlin noise and cosine gradient palettes. It can be added with npx shadcn@latest add @react-bits/SoftAurora-TS-TW, and the component page offers JavaScript or TypeScript variants with plain CSS or Tailwind.
