Scanner, the glowing-lines background, adds cursor-reactive lines, click pings, a power-on intro and a light mode.
The Scanner background in React Bits has been updated with sharper visuals and more ways to interact with it.
Visual changes
The glowing lines are crisper, and the scan head now leaves an afterglow trail behind it. A power-on intro and a light mode have also been added.
Interaction
The lines part around the cursor, and clicking sends out a ping.
Installing
The component page offers JavaScript or TypeScript, with plain CSS or Tailwind. The TypeScript and Tailwind version installs with npx shadcn@latest add @react-bits/Scanner-TS-TW.
