The React Bits background gains drift, shimmer, glow, an accent color, a blast intro, cursor lighting, new shapes and a perspective floor.
Pixel Blast, the dithered pixel-cloud background in React Bits, has been updated. The clouds look the same but render more smoothly and softly, and the component now runs much faster with no dependencies.
What's new
- Pixels drift, shimmer and glow.
- An accent color can be set.
- A blast intro plays when the background loads.
- A cursor that lights pixels up as it moves over them.
- New shapes and a perspective floor.
Installation
The component is available in JavaScript or TypeScript, with plain CSS or Tailwind. The TypeScript and Tailwind version installs with npx shadcn@latest add @react-bits/PixelBlast-TS-TW.
