The rebuilt React Bits background reacts to hover and click, tilts in 3D, and installs in JavaScript or TypeScript with CSS or Tailwind.
React Bits has rebuilt its Orb background, a glowing ring of swirling color that breathes, trails an orbiting light and reaches toward the cursor.
Cursor and click behaviour
The ring is crisper and more luminous than before. It reaches toward the cursor and lights up where the pointer hovers over it, and it pulses on click. On load it powers on with an intro.
Customization
Orb can tilt in 3D. Its colors, size and glow are customizable, and the component page has customization controls and source tabs, which need JavaScript enabled.
Installation
Orb is available in JavaScript or TypeScript, with plain CSS or Tailwind. The TypeScript and Tailwind version installs with npx shadcn@latest add @react-bits/Orb-TS-TW.
