The React Bits background now reacts to the cursor and clicks, runs lighter, and lets you change fonts, spacing and character sets.
The React Bits Letter Glitch background has been redesigned as a calm field of letters that flicker, scramble and glitch in color. The vendor says it is now much lighter to run.
Cursor and click behavior
Moving the cursor scrambles the letters near it. A click tears through the rows.
Customization
Fonts, spacing and character sets are all adjustable. The component page offers JavaScript or TypeScript and plain CSS or Tailwind variants. The shadcn install command for the TypeScript and Tailwind version is npx shadcn@latest add @react-bits/LetterGlitch-TS-TW.
