Ghost Cursor in React Bits has been rebuilt as drifting smoke that stays sharp on any screen. The updated component runs many times faster than the previous version and needs no extra dependencies.
What changed
- The effect is now real drifting smoke. It floats after the cursor and curls away as it rises.
- Clicks release a puff.
- It works on light pages as well as dark ones.
- It stays sharp on any screen.
Installing it
The component page offers JavaScript or TypeScript, with plain CSS or Tailwind. The TypeScript and Tailwind version installs with npx shadcn@latest add @react-bits/GhostCursor-TS-TW.
