The React Bits click effect adds dash, comet, dot and star sparks, plus gravity and glow, and can now be triggered from code.
Click Spark, the click-burst effect in React Bits, has been updated with new spark shapes, colors, gravity and glow.
What changed
The component's description now lists four spark styles: dashes, comets, dots and stars. The update also adds color, gravity and glow settings, which the vendor says make the sparks sharper.
Bursts beyond the button
Bursts can now spill past small buttons, so they are no longer confined to the button's own bounds. They can also appear behind your content, and they can be fired from code as well as by a click.
Installing it
The component is available in JavaScript or TypeScript, with plain CSS or Tailwind. The shadcn install command for the TypeScript and Tailwind version is npx shadcn@latest add @react-bits/ClickSpark-TS-TW. The page's interactive preview, customization controls and source tabs need JavaScript enabled.
