The React Bits background now runs smoother physics with thousands of balls, and visitors can grab, throw and blast them apart.
The React Bits Ballpit background has been updated. The vendor describes it as a soft-lit pit of physics balls that can be shoved with the cursor, grabbed, thrown and blasted apart.
What changed
- The physics was rebuilt to stay smooth with thousands of balls.
- The balls have soft, modern finishes.
- Besides pushing balls with the cursor, you can now grab and throw them, or blast them apart.
Installing
The component installs with npx shadcn@latest add @react-bits/Ballpit-TS-TW. That command is for the TypeScript and Tailwind variant. The page also offers JavaScript and plain CSS options.
