post-prod.io launches as a cheaper Frame.io rival for video teams

By Steven Van ·

Seth Fowler's post-prod.io puts frame-accurate notes, playable suggested edits and full-quality renders in one browser review tool, at $10 per admin with free guests.

YouTube tool builder Seth Fowler, who also makes Retti, launched post-prod.io on October 26, 2026, pitching it as his replacement for Frame.io after more than five years of using it. It's a browser-based review tool where teams pin notes to an exact frame, draw on it, reply or leave voice notes, then approve the cut.

Reviewers can also set up suggested edits that everyone plays back first, such as cuts, speed changes, zooms, tracked blurs, subtitle fixes or swapped footage. The team then renders the final from the full-quality original instead of re-exporting, and notes go out as markers to Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro and Avid. Thumbnails get reviewed in the same place.

The Creator plan costs $10 per admin a month, or $8 billed yearly, with 200 GB per admin and unlimited free guests who don't need an account. An Agency plan covers 10 admins for $149 a month. It runs in the browser only, with no mobile apps.
