Pocket collectibles live in Apple and Google Wallet

By Steven Van ·

A supply of 2,500 seeds, and rarity comes from how long the plant stays alive.

Pocket, a collection of 2,500 seeds, is meant to live in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Pocket Pad introduced it on October 30, 2026 as a marketplace for digital ownership, and as the first collection built on ERC-8426.

How a seed becomes a Spirit

Rarity is how long the plant stays alive. The thread sets that against a random draw, paying more at mint, or paying extra for a reveal. After a mint, the holder can keep the seed or start watering. Water it daily. At 24 hours without water it withers and the art changes. At 48 hours it wilts further. At 72 hours it dies and reveals a Spirit. A seed that is never watered cannot die.

The Spirit is not a random pull, and it is not pay-to-win. The first plant to die reveals a common. The last plant to die reveals the rarest in the collection. The announcement video shows a Pocket pass open in Apple Wallet, with a plant on the card.

What is still unannounced

The same thread says people who played WalletChi on the testnet will be rewarded, and that more details will follow closer to launch. It does not list a price, a mint date, or a chain. The closing card prints pocketpad.io and says to trust only links from @pocketpad_io. Checked on October 31, that domain did not serve a site.
