Photoroom rebrands around AI product photography

New logo, colours and app icon accompany a mission statement centred on product visuals, not just background removal.
Photoroom has refreshed its brand, with a new logo, new colours and a new app icon, alongside a new mission statement: "We give e-commerce businesses superpowers to create visuals that help them grow."
The company frames the change around a single idea, laid out in its announcement: people don't buy products online, they buy pictures, deciding whether an item is for them before they read the price or the description. Photoroom says it has grown well past background removal, the feature it started with, into a tool that creates product images, keeps them consistent across a catalogue, and automates listings at scale. It cites usage of over 300 million people across more than 180 countries, more than 7 billion images processed a year, and over a million businesses using the product.
