🎬 OpusClip releases "AI Producer"
OpusClip released "AI Producer," an AI video editor agent that turns raw talking-head footage into publish-ready video, applying captions, B-roll, motion graphics, music, and sound effects in one pass and then taking revision requests through chat.
OpusClip is best known for cutting long videos into short clips. AI Producer starts from the other end: raw, unedited footage.
With AI Producer, you can now:
Get a full first cut: One pass applies captions, B-Roll, motion design, music, and SFX, with an edit log explaining what changed and why.
Direct changes in plain language: Tell it what to adjust and it changes that, not the whole video.
Refine on a timeline: Effect-level selection, undo, restore, and targeted regeneration.

🖼 Midjourney releases "Edit Mode"
Midjourney released its first "Edit Mode" using its V8 Model, bringing image-to-image editing, inpainting and outpainting, up to four reference images, and support for personalization, moodboards, and style references.
The model replaces Omni Reference (Midjourney's previous tool for carrying a subject into new images) and folds inpainting and outpainting into one system built on V8.2.
Inpainting changes a selected area inside an image while leaving the rest untouched. Outpainting extends the canvas beyond the original edges, with AI filling in the new space.
With the new Edit Model, you can now:
Edit with instructions: Describe a change in plain text and the model applies it to an existing image.
Generate from references: Generate images with other images (replacing omni-reference) with up to 4 image references at once.
Inpaint and outpaint: Change a specific region or expand the canvas.
Use existing style controls: Personalization, moodboards, and srefs all work, though moodboards/style references may work best with some extra prompt direction in this version.
It's accessible by dragging images into the prompt bar under "attach to prompt," clicking 'edit' in the lightbox, using the 'edit' tab on the left, or typing --edit on Discord.

⚡ fal releases "MiniMax H3 Max"
fal released "MiniMax H3 Max," a faster version of MiniMax's H3 video model that generates clips quicker than you can watch them: a 5-second clip is ready in about 3 seconds.
That makes H3 Max fal's fastest video model, roughly 35x faster than running the original H3 through MiniMax and, by fal's count, 15x faster on average than models of comparable quality. Native audio comes with every generation.
The base model, MiniMax H3 (also called Hailuo 3.0), launched July 31, 2026 as a general-purpose omni-modal generation model from Shanghai-based MiniMax. H3 Max is fal's variant, not a MiniMax release.
This video is not sped up
With H3 Max, you can now:
Generate in near real time: 5 to 15 second clips at 768p, with a 5-second clip back in about 3 seconds and a 15-second clip in about 15.
Get sound in the same pass: Dialogue, foley, music, and ambience are generated with the picture, so there's nothing to sync afterwards.
Animate stills: Image-to-video, with an optional end frame to control where the shot lands.
Use references: A new "Reference to Video Max" mode, released this week, lets you upload reference images, video clips, and audio, then point at each one in your prompt with #.
Note: Five 5-second generations a day are free with no account, and signing in adds five more at up to 15 seconds. Beyond that, it's $0.08 per second at 768p ($0.05 at 480p).
