Midjourney’s First Acquisition

Midjourney has made its first acquisition, taking on Co-Star, the reflection and decision-making project founded by Banu Guler. Co-Star remains under Guler's own control and direction, but she and her team are joining Midjourney to help build out the company's Product and Design organization.
Midjourney frames the deal as part of a wider move into a research lab structure, following the earlier launch of Midjourney Medical. It says half a dozen similarly ambitious projects will be announced over the next six months.
