Manus Projects can now review chats and update their own setup

By Steven Van ·

With approval required each time, Manus can revise a Project's instructions, files, or skills after a task, or on a recurring schedule.

Manus now lets Projects learn from the conversations that happen inside them. When a task in a Manus Project produces a reusable decision, an updated file, or a better process, you can ask Manus to review the conversation and propose changes to the Project's instructions, files, or skills. Nothing is applied without approval.

You can trigger a review manually with a prompt like "Review this conversation and suggest any updates we should make to this Project's instructions or files," or build it into a recurring workflow, for example asking Manus to check after each task whether anything should be updated. The same approval flow applies to Project skills: Manus can turn a repeatable workflow, such as a launch writing checklist or a research method, into a new skill or refine an existing one. The feature applies to Project sessions where Project instructions and files are supported; it does not apply where Project context isn't available.
