Lovable apps now render server-side for SEO and AEO
New builds get full SSR and unique social previews, while old ones get automatic pre-rendered HTML snapshots at no extra cost.
New apps built with Lovable now ship with full server-side rendering, so pages arrive as complete HTML that Google, ChatGPT, and Perplexity can read and index immediately. Existing apps built on the previous React and Tailwind CSS stack get automatic pre-rendered HTML snapshots instead, with no migration required. Social preview links on sites like LinkedIn, Slack, and X are now also unique per page. Both SSR and pre-rendering are free on all plans, including the free tier.
Lovable has also added Semrush search data directly into the builder chat, no Semrush account needed. Users can ask what keywords they're ranking for, get traffic and competitor insights, and have Lovable build a landing page targeting a specific term, all in the same conversation. Chatting with Semrush data uses regular build credits and is free of extra charge through September 15, 2026.
- An on-demand SEO & AI search review checks performance, metadata, heading structure, image alt text, canonical tags, Open Graph tags, robots, and sitemap status, free on all plans.
- Recommendations from the review can be applied with a one-click fix, which uses regular build credits.
Existing projects can move to the new server-side rendered stack (built on TanStack Start) via /migrate, from project settings, or by asking the agent to upgrade, though migrating consumes credits and the live site stays untouched until republished. Full details are in the announcement.
