Lovable ships an MCP server to manage projects from any AI client
The research preview lets ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or VS Code create, edit and deploy Lovable projects across a user's full account via OAuth.
Lovable has released an MCP server in research preview at https://mcp.lovable.dev, letting an AI client such as ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, or VS Code manage Lovable projects by natural language, without leaving that client. Connected, an agent can create projects, send messages to iterate on them, inspect code and file history, and deploy apps with a returned live URL.
The Lovable MCP server is available on all plans and connects via OAuth. It gives the connected client access to a user's full account rather than a single project: it can list, read, and edit every project the user has access to, and tool calls use real credits and edit real projects. Third-party MCP client access is on by default for Free, Pro, and Business workspaces, and off by default for Enterprise, where an admin or owner can enable it under Settings.
