Lovable adds reusable AI Skills for recurring tasks
Save markdown-based playbooks that Lovable loads automatically, personal or team-wide, with five built in and more writable on request.
Lovable has added Skills, a markdown-based way to save reusable instructions the AI applies automatically when a matching task comes up, rather than re-explaining conventions in every chat. A skill is a folder with a main SKILL.md file (a name, a description Lovable uses to decide when to load it, and the instructions themselves) plus optional supporting files for detail that only loads when needed. Skills can be personal or shared across a team, several can fire on the same task, and they can also be triggered manually by typing "/" followed by the skill name. Five built-in skills are available now, and users can ask Lovable to write a new one for them.
Lovable positions skills as separate from its existing workspace and project knowledge fields: knowledge holds always-on rules like coding standards or brand voice, while skills are task-specific playbooks that only load when a relevant job comes up.
