Opus 5.5 matches Opus 5's build quality in Lovable while using up to 48% fewer steps, per Lovable's internal benchmarks.
Lovable now builds with Claude Opus 5.5. In Lovable's internal tests, the new model matched Opus 5 on both new app builds and iterative code fixes, but used up to 48% fewer steps to get there.
Lovable also reports 4 to 6% higher scores on its verification-discipline benchmark, which measures whether a model checks a change enough and then stops rather than re-opening the browser or repeating checks, with up to 57% fewer steps on that measure.
