You can now trigger Linear loops from Slack and GitHub, share them as templates, and customize how much reasoning each one uses.

Linear expanded loops on October 22 with three changes.

Loops can now be triggered from Slack and GitHub, so work that starts in a chat thread or a code repository can kick one off. You can share loops as templates, which helps a team reuse a setup that works. You can also customize a loop’s reasoning level to balance depth against speed.

The changes are live now, according to Linear’s post.
