Linear's editor now supports LaTeX math blocks

By Steven Van ·

Type /math in Linear’s editor to insert a LaTeX block for formulas and notation. The public changelog had not listed it yet.

On October 27, Linear said its editor supports LaTeX math blocks for formulas, equations, and mathematical notation. Type /math to insert one.

That is the whole announcement. Checked the same day, linear.app/changelog and its feed had no LaTeX entry. The newest item seen was the October 22 note on Slack and GitHub loops. The editor docs page was up and did not describe /math.

The image in the post is a formula in a Linear document. Linear does not say which plans include math blocks, or whether /math is on the web, desktop, and mobile apps. Availability beyond the post is unstated.
