HyperFrames v0.8.83
By Steven Van ·
Studio's DOM editing, snapping and marquee selection can now be reused by host apps, and HDR footage previews with the same tone map as renders.
Host apps can now reuse more of Studio in HyperFrames, and two fixes make HDR footage and CLI updates more predictable, according to the v0.8.83 changelog.
- A host app can reuse Studio's DOM editing outside the Studio editor, and its snapping and marquee selection in its own preview.
- A host can keep paint order in step with timeline rows.
- Studio Server can list the projects the history cache knows, with their folders.
- HDR footage previews with the same tone map that renders use, and forced-SDR renders show tone-mapped HDR footage as Studio does.
- An update never replaces the CLI's files while a hyperframes command is running.
- The timeline takes m4v video and flac audio, and dragging an audio clip's edge trims it instead of moving it.
- Carve and duck follow each clip's trim and speed.
- A clip drag released outside the window is cancelled, and the shortcut list shows only keyframe keys that work.
- Studio Server no longer recreates a project folder that was renamed away on save, and says the folder is gone when a request fails after it vanished.
On performance, a host's first screen can import Studio's UI and Player without the editor. A bundled film inlines each shared font once instead of once per composition. A host can also import path, asset and runtime-script helpers without the parsers.
