HyperFrames v0.8.50

By Steven Van ·

HyperFrames fixes a Studio bug that broke editing sessions for canvas-based compositions, and redesigns the timeline around one row per element.

HyperFrames Studio no longer loses its editing session for compositions that use a canvas element, such as Three.js scenes, shaders, particle effects or charts. The bug had been present since v0.8.47: building the editing session for a canvas composition threw an error, silently falling back to an older server-side editing path instead of the SDK.

This release also reworks the Studio timeline. It now shows one row per top-level element instead of nested child rows, and clip groups can be copied, pasted and duplicated directly on the timeline.

  • Studio: preview ruler and safe-margin toggles.
  • Studio: per-project UI preference scoping.
  • Studio: the agent now sees every timeline clip, including audio.
  • Studio: dragging a file onto the timeline shows where it will land, instead of a drop-to-add box.

HyperFrames is open source. Full details are in the v0.8.50 changelog.
