HyperFrames v0.8.223

By Steven Van ·

Skills, Core, Player and CLI changes land in v0.8.223, including a Windows telemetry fix and a Player fix for silent preview voice.

Reverse any video now runs on the HyperFrames plan in HyperFrames v0.8.223, with clearer credit wording. The linked commit for this release is a docs change, so the detail below comes from the release note.

Features

  • Skills: reverse any video is re-landed on the HyperFrames plan, with clearer credit wording.
  • Core: playback health now reports how long a video on screen showed no moving picture.

Fixes

  • Player: preview voice no longer goes silent while other tracks play.
  • CLI: exit-time telemetry no longer loses a render's events on Windows.
  • CLI: JSON files with a BOM are read for timeline plans, grades and motion specs.
  • CLI: a JSON flag that reads - with nothing piped now says stdin was empty.
  • CLI: remove-background gathers each decoded frame in linear time.
  • Lint: the podcast-lanes.html page Desktop writes is no longer treated as a second root composition.
  • Lint: a timeline registered in a local script file counts as registered.
  • Core: same-time sets at 0 land in authored order on the first frame.
  • History: reading a project's history no longer rewrites its record.

The release also lists a Producer fix about HDR renders reporting their encoder, but the note is cut off there, so its detail is not covered here.

The linked commit

The commit itself moves "Make a video", "Studio app" and "Developers" into a single Docs menu in the documentation's top bar. Each keeps its own sidebar. Free lessons, Community and the app changelog sit under the menu, and Catalog stays as its own tab.
