HyperFrames v0.8.222
By Steven Van ·
Render can now export a single span as its own MP4, and capture retries without WebGL, so more exports finish in this HyperFrames release.
Render in HyperFrames v0.8.222 can now output just one span of a film. --start and --end render only that span as its own MP4. The release also adds a WebGL fallback for capture and a new lint warning for stylesheet paths.
Features
- Render: --start and --end render only that span of the film as its own MP4.
- Lint: warns when a url() in a linked stylesheet does not resolve beside it, such as a font or image pointing at the wrong folder.
- Telemetry: render_complete splits capture time into seek, page, screenshot and encoder wait.
- CLI: review notes name the command that reviews the cuts inside a sub-composition.
- CLI: beats analyses an audio or video file given directly.
Fixes
- Capture retries without WebGL when a page stops answering, so more exports finish.
- history show --diff names a changed video or audio file instead of refusing.
- A brace-stripped JSON flag value now points the user at the file and stdin forms.
- Render telemetry names content gates instead of calling them disabled.
- A font declared in the project's root stylesheet now counts for its sub-compositions in lint.
Variables files read again
One fix in the release has its own commit. Both --variables-file and a path passed to --variables had stopped reading the file, and they read it again. The change is in how the JSON flag helper merges its default and supplied file and stdin readers. A new test writes a vars.json containing {"title":"Hello"} and checks that both flag forms resolve to those variables.
