HyperFrames v0.8.212
By Steven Van ·
The v0.8.212 CLI release adds download resume, a unified --json error format and a help command, plus fixes across Studio, Inspector and Engine.
A model download that stalls partway through now resumes instead of failing. HyperFrames v0.8.212 also gives --json failures a single response shape, and check now shows progress while it runs, per the changelog.
CLI
- A model download that stalls partway resumes rather than failing.
- Every --json failure answers with one envelope, and --json is accepted only where it is supported.
- Remaining flag validation errors now exit with code 2.
- New help [cmd] command. The CLI suggests the closest command or flag, and its nags are quieter.
- check prints a progress line as each pass after overlap begins.
- check pages force a WebGL drawing buffer but keep no list of 2d canvases.
- snapshot warns when a video on screen has no source to read a frame from.
Studio, Inspector and Engine
- Inspector: live queries see every composition, wherever the playhead is.
- Studio: a thumbnail reader forgets a start's failures after a minute.
- Studio Server: the render route passes a MOV ProRes profile to the render.
- Engine: a Windows browser that will not start now says where and why.
The release also includes two internal changes: a Studio test fix for undo timing, and keeping the bun cache warm while skipping binary downloads in preflight.
