HyperFrames v0.8.190
By Steven Van ·
Motion blur picks a cheaper draw mode automatically, Studio adds a preview seek bar, and several engine fixes cut render memory use.
Motion blur in HyperFrames now chooses a cheaper way to draw where it can, and renders use less memory. Studio also gets a preview seek bar. The changes are in v0.8.190.
Motion blur
- Blur now has an automatic tier, with 240°/32 defaults, a check finding, and Studio no longer opting out.
- Where capture cannot run, capture blur falls back to per-element filters.
Studio
- A seek bar is added to the preview.
- An idle editor no longer wakes the GPU four times a second.
- The thumbnail capture page loads media near the playhead, the same way the preview does.
Render and engine fixes
- The BeginFrame start-up check waits for the first frame up to its deadline.
- A render no longer decodes the videos it replaces with extracted frames.
- The video frame cache budget is shared by the capture workers.
- A long audio mix prepares its clips a few at a time.
- In the CLI, render -c takes an absolute entry inside the project, relative to the project.
- On AWS Lambda, the audio function is warmed while the plan runs.
