HyperFrames v0.8.189
By Steven Van ·
Fixes cover mixing many audio clips, opaque ProRes extraction, consistent x264 and x265 threading, and Studio history on drives without hard links.
Four fixes in HyperFrames v0.8.189 make renders behave the same across different machines and drives. They cover audio mixing, ProRes handling, encoder threading and Studio's history lock.
Rendering engine
- Audio mixing: any number of audio clips can be mixed, because the engine now sums them in stages.
- ProRes: an opaque ProRes clip extracts to jpg frames. Only ProRes with alpha stays png.
- Encoding threads: x264 and x265 now use the same thread count on any host size, so output no longer depends on the machine's size.
Studio server
The Studio history lock now works on drives that do not support hard links.
