HyperFrames v0.8.186
By Steven Van ·
Capture motion blur now works in renders and Studio, and turns itself off with an explanation on pages where it cannot run safely.
HyperFrames v0.8.186 wires capture motion blur into renders and Studio. It switches itself off, and says why, on pages it cannot blur safely.
Motion blur
- Capture motion blur now reaches renders and Studio.
- Blur defects are decided once per timeline, and blur is off on routes that cannot host it.
- Capture motion blur is blocked on html-in-canvas defects.
- Accelerated canvases are tracked before any page script runs.
- Core and engine now report why blur is off, and what each render session did.
- The check command in the CLI tells authors why motion blur is off.
CLI changes
- The CLI can read a whole recording as voice, effect and music lines.
- hyperframes history lists its entries even when the current run cannot write the history.
- init --video frames the project to the clip's shape, so nothing is cropped.
Other fixes
In preview, a clip's volume lane now stays smooth while the page is busy.
Background removal docs
The release also includes a documentation change to the background removal guide. It says the model can drop all or part of an object a person holds, especially a dark microphone, phone, card or instrument. For those shots, the guide recommends another matting tool.
