HyperFrames v0.8.179

By Steven Van ·

Lambda deploys now work from the npm package alone, and distributed render chunks download only their own slice of audio.

Cloud renders on AWS Lambda can now be deployed straight from the npm install of HyperFrames, with no repo checkout needed. The change is part of v0.8.179.

Lambda deploy and renders

  • The CLI's Lambda deploy works from the npm install, without checking out the repo.
  • Old AWS Lambda stacks are refused before any upload happens, and stale local copies never re-upload.
  • In distributed renders, each chunk downloads only its own slice of the plan audio rather than all of it.

Studio and Inspector fixes

  • A deselect made in Studio while an edit is saving stays deselected.
  • In the Inspector, data-hf-id stamps alone no longer make the live preview stale.

Internal changes

Two internal fixes also shipped. The late subresource capture test now lands its assets well inside the settle cap. The packed consumer check no longer fails on npm versions published only minutes earlier.
