HyperFrames v0.8.168
By Steven Van ·
Version 0.8.168 sizes cloud render chunks to the worker limit, adds 25 fps and 720p/480p output, and fixes scrubbing back across scenes.
Scrubbing back across a scene in the HyperFrames preview now shows the scene's content instead of an empty frame. The fix is in v0.8.168, which also changes how cloud renders are split up.
Cloud rendering
Distributed renders now size their chunks to the worker limit and concurrency, and assemble the result in one pass. The release notes say this makes long videos finish faster. Assembly also keeps its disk use under one copy of the output.
- Distributed renders accept 25 fps.
- Producer can render at 720p and 480p from a larger composition.
Preview and composition fixes
- Scrubbing back across a scene no longer leaves its content hidden.
- A composition mounted twice keeps each mount's own timeline.
- A WebGPU block mounted as a sub-composition gets WebGPU, as a root one does.
- Local renders lay out width-only videos the way the browser does.
CLI and lint
- When a sandbox refuses a browser, the CLI says to rerun the command with escalation.
- The dense overlap pass in check takes at most 240 samples, at clip windows first.
- The timeline lists clips nested in a timed element, and lint flags ones that never show.
- HYPERFRAMES_SKIP_SKILLS is now honoured in skills update and bare skills.
- Lint no longer flags dir on html, and a render test now guards RTL export.
- The skills manifest was regenerated after the HyperFrames guidance update.
