HyperFrames v0.8.150
By Steven Van ·
Replaced video frames release cached resources, and exports now match scene timing in preview.
Video frame injection in HyperFrames v0.8.150 now releases replaced image resources, preventing cached frames from accumulating during capture. The release also adds composition-wide audio effects and fixes scene export timing.
Apply effects to the whole audio mix
Setting data-fx-chain on the top-level composition root now applies one effects chain to the whole mix, after clip and group effects. Previously unused root chains should be removed to preserve unchanged audio. A scene previewed or rendered alone now uses its own master audio chain.
Large audio effects mixes render in windows instead of loading the full mix into the browser. Parameter automation above 2 GiB remains unsupported.
Match exports to preview timing
Exported video and audio now respect split scenes’ in-points and inline scenes’ start times, matching their placement in preview. Pitch-shifted exports retain the end of the clip and its effect tail, while Bitcrush preview no longer starts with a silent hold after seeking.
Handle temporary frame URLs
For engine API users, injectVideoFramesBatch now assigns temporary image URLs that expire after decoding. Serializing or reloading the DOM requires the original frame source. Engine-owned capture pages also retain less response data for DevTools inspection.
Studio diagnostics and example fixes
- Studio history diagnostics now include the server status and reason when an edit cannot be recorded as an undo step.
- The product-promo example no longer fails lint because of conflicting CSS and GSAP transforms, allowing its browser audits to run.
