Apps can import transcribe and removeBackground as functions that return typed results and throw typed errors.
Apps can now call transcribe and removeBackground directly as functions in HyperFrames v0.8.149. The release adds a hyperframes/api entry that exports both functions.
Direct calls with typed results
Apps import the functions from hyperframes/api to receive typed results and catch typed errors. Tools such as HyperFrames Desktop no longer need to run the CLI as a child process to call them.
The change is included in the v0.8.149 release, released on October 11, 2026.
