Google Fonts requests now fall back when needed, and Studio decodes HEVC and ProRes previews at their on-screen size.
Google Fonts links that request axis values a font family lacks no longer cause renders to fail in HyperFrames v0.8.141. The release also fixes background flashes between back-to-back 4K clips in Studio previews.
Font fallback and diagnostics
When a Google Fonts link returns no usable faces, HyperFrames falls back to the standard weight request so the render keeps the font. Unresolved-font errors now include structured diagnostics identifying which resolver step failed, without including font names, URLs or page text.
Studio previews and playback
Studio now decodes HEVC and ProRes previews at the size they appear on screen, preventing background flashes between consecutive 4K clips. The player also loads compositions using the document’s own duration and reports the first author error.
HeyGen gateway support
Host apps can route media-use requests to HeyGen through their own gateway using HEYGEN_API_BASE. These changes are listed in the v0.8.141 release notes, published October 8, 2026.
