HyperFrames v0.8.139
By Steven Van ·
Built-in transcription now works in the desktop app, while CLI users get streamed words and Studio gets drag fixes.
Built-in transcription now runs inside the HyperFrames desktop app with v0.8.139. The transcription fix reads WAV audio in JavaScript, avoiding the native buffer error in Electron. Empty WAV files are treated as silence.
Transcription progress
The transcribe --json command now streams words as they are heard, except when using parakeet-mlx. That backend can now detect the language automatically, and the Parakeet installation is named under auto.
Dragging and rendering fixes
- Studio drags after a resize, undo or reload now land where they were pressed.
- Nested scenes stay in place during a drag when the root has no timeline.
- Renders preserve a fromTo animation's from-only values from its starting frame.
Studio performance and catalog
Timeline jumps no longer start thumbnail loads that are about to be cancelled. Studio also parses saved HTML once when syncing timeline length. The catalog adds a gooey split block with metaball goo and directional motion blur.
