The release reduces preview memory use, adds Whisper language detection and progress reporting, and clarifies audio peak warnings.
Compositions with large inline images or scripts now use far less memory while loading for preview in HyperFrames. The v0.8.137 release also updates Whisper transcription and Studio’s audio warnings.
Whisper language detection and progress
The CLI’s transcribe command now detects the spoken language when using Whisper instead of assuming English. The --json option reports download and transcription progress, while the new --no-runtime-install flag prevents installation of the Whisper runtime.
Audio peak warnings
Studio now labels audio clips that reach the export ceiling as “Too loud”. Hovering over the warning or focusing it with the keyboard reveals the exact peak.
