Higgsfield makes its Supercomputer LLM free to use

Chat, scripting and planning inside Supercomputer no longer cost credits; only image, video and audio generation does.
Higgsfield flipped a switch that changes how its Supercomputer workspace gets used day to day: Free Mode is live, making the LLM inside free for brainstorming, prompt writing, scripting, research, and project planning. Credits now kick in only when you generate images, video, or audio. As the announcement puts it, a Supercomputer-level LLM, yours to use.
Thinking is now free, rendering costs
Supercomputer is Higgsfield's agentic workspace, a full AI creative team in one chat that plans a project, picks models, and renders the content. The friction in that model was that every step, including the cheap conversational ones, lived under the same credit meter, which nudged users to do their thinking elsewhere and show up only to render. Free Mode splits the bill along the natural line: conversation, ideation, script drafts, prompt engineering, and research cost nothing, and the meter starts only at the expensive part, generation.
What you can do without spending a credit
The free tier of activity covers most of preproduction. You can brainstorm concepts and hooks, write and refine prompts before committing them to a generation, script videos, run research, and plan projects end to end, all against the LLM that orchestrates the rest of the platform. Supercomputer's brain is a serious one: its Hermes agent orchestrates 40+ built-in tools and can call on frontier models, with connectors into Google Drive, Notion, Slack, Figma, and 30+ other apps plus a persistent memory store. That's a real assistant to get for free, not a demo chatbot.
The strategy behind free
The economics are straightforward: LLM tokens are cheap, video generation is not, and every good script or well-engineered prompt raises the odds a user commits credits to rendering it. Making the thinking layer free also moves Supercomputer toward being the place where a creator's whole project lives, since your research, plans, and prompt library accumulate there even on days you generate nothing. It follows an aggressive release run for Higgsfield, Explainer for faceless documentary-style videos and Higgsfield Apps both landed in recent weeks.
