Higgsfield adds Seedance 2.5, free for 33 days

The new ByteDance model brings lip-sync and 30-second continuity to Higgsfield, running at zero credit cost through early September.
Higgsfield switched on Seedance 2.5 on August 9, bringing ByteDance's new flagship video model to a platform that already processes millions of generations a day. Higgsfield's announcement leads with next-level skin shading and lighting, accurate lip-sync and facial expressions, and video-to-video, plus the headline trick of the whole Seedance 2.5 rollout: characters, outfits, light, and location that carry through an entire 30-second sequence without drifting.
Lip-sync, skin shading, and a 30-second memory
The features Higgsfield calls out target the exact places AI video usually falls apart. Better skin shading and lighting is about closing the plastic-face gap that gives generated footage away. Accurate lip-sync and facial expressions matter most for dialogue scenes and talking-head content, where even a small mismatch reads as fake. Video-to-video means you can feed the model existing footage and restyle or redirect it instead of starting from a blank text prompt.
The continuity claim is the big one. Outfits that do not morph between cuts, lighting that stays consistent, and a location that holds still across a full 30-second run are what turn a video model from a clip generator into something you can actually storyboard with.
What running it on Higgsfield looks like
Higgsfield's own documentation fills in the platform specifics. The model generates at 480p or 720p with upscaling to 4K, and it handles any aspect ratio from vertical 9:16 to widescreen 21:9. Audio is not a separate step: ambience, foley, and score are generated in the same pass as the visuals and matched to on-screen action. You can load up to 50 multimodal references, images and clips, to lock characters, products, locations, and style across the whole video, and region-level editing lets you fix one face or object without re-rendering the entire clip.
On pricing, Higgsfield lists 10 seconds at 480p for 30 credits ($1.50) and 10 seconds at 720p for 65 credits ($3.25). More important right now: the launch offer. Higgsfield says Seedance 2.5 runs at zero credit cost for 33 days as a limited-time deal, which makes this the cheapest window to stress-test the model on real projects.
Two days behind the wave, with a heavier toolchain
Seedance 2.5 swept across creative platforms starting August 7, landing on Runway, Krea, Luma, Magnific, Picsart, fal, and others in a coordinated wave. Higgsfield joins two days later, but it arrives with more scaffolding around the model than most. The platform already hosts Seedance 2.0, Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1, and Sora 2, and wraps its models in motion control, Soul ID character consistency, Draw-to-Video markup, a 3D scene builder for spatial blocking, and 40+ creative apps.
That is the real pitch here. Raw Seedance 2.5 access is now easy to find. Running it inside a stack built for camera paths, character locking, and region edits is where Higgsfield wants to separate itself, and the 33-day free window is the obvious time to find out if that combination holds up.
