Introducing Harvey II

Harvey's agents now inherit the context of your matters and projects, along with a memory of how you work.
Harvey's agents can now pick up the context of the matter or project they're working in, rather than starting fresh with every task. The update, called Harvey II, also adds a memory feature and Harvey's first purpose-built legal model.
- Agents opening inside a Space (a matter or project) now carry its documents, parties, tasks, permissions and history with them. For firms, permissions and ethical walls sync from existing systems, and client data does not move between Spaces.
- Memory tracks how an individual works, including how they structure summaries, what they want cited, and how they write, picked up from direct instructions and from edits and corrections. It follows a user across Harvey, Word and Outlook. Users can view, edit or turn off what Harvey remembers, and it is never used to train models.
- Harvey Tenet, Harvey's first model post-trained end-to-end for legal reasoning, replaces reliance on general-purpose models. Harvey says it performs at a frontier level on prominent legal benchmarks, on par with the strongest general models, at an open-source cost.
Teams can also set templates, such as headings, numbering, defined terms and citation style, once, so drafts come back in the format they already use.
