Graphify made it to GitHub's Octoverse 2026

By Steven Van ·

The open source repo reached No. 7 on Octoverse's product-led list within six months of its first commit, with over 137,000 stars.

GitHub's Octoverse 2026 lists Graphify (Graphify-Labs/graphify) as No. 7 among the most-engaged open source repositories on the single-vendor and product-led side. It sits alongside microsoft/vscode, anomalyco/opencode and BerriAI/litellm, according to the team's post.

What the report counted

Octoverse covers 1 October 2025 to 30 September 2026. The first commit to the repo was 5 April 2026. Graphify says the engagement measure reflects people starring the repo, filing issues, sending pull requests, answering questions in Discord and writing about the project on their own blogs.

Current numbers

  • More than 137,000 GitHub stars and more than 13,000 forks, as of 29 October 2026.
  • More than 1.6 million downloads of the graphifyy package from PyPI in the last month.

What stays the same

Graphify says code is parsed on the user's machine, every relationship is tagged EXTRACTED or INFERRED, and the project stays Apache 2.0. The /graphify command works in Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI and Copilot, with $graphify in Codex.

Hosted version

The post also points to graphify.com, where the same graph runs hosted. A hosted MCP server gives agents one endpoint with OAuth sign-in. Hosted plans add pull request reviews and formal verification, and a workspace can include non-code sources such as a Google Drive folder. Pricing starts with a free plan for one developer, then Pro, Teams and Enterprise. Enterprise can be self-hosted or air-gapped, with SAML single sign-on. Pre-seed and seed teams can apply to the Graphify for Startups program for 50% off Teams.
