Google's Gemini app comes to Windows 10 and 11 with an Alt + Space shortcut, Gemini Spark, and built-in image and video creation.
The Gemini app is now available for Windows 10 and 11, letting users open it over any active window with an Alt + Space shortcut for quick help without switching away from what they're doing.
- The desktop workspace includes Gemini Spark, Google's agent for handing off multi-step tasks, and can pull information from Google apps like Gmail and Drive to draft things such as project summaries.
- It also brings in image and video creation, including Nano Banana for images and Gemini Omni for video, in the same window.
- Google says the app is lightweight and runs without slowing down the PC.
The app is available today globally, downloadable from gemini.google/desktop.
