Gemini can now generate downloadable files in chat

Excel, Word, PDF, Sheets, Slides and more are available to all Gemini app users worldwide.
Gemini can now generate downloadable files directly in chat, instead of returning content you have to copy and reformat yourself. Ask for a budget proposal and it can produce a Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) file; ask it to write up a collaboration and it can produce a single-page PDF or Word (.docx) document.
Supported formats include Google Docs, Sheets and Slides, .pdf, .docx, .xlsx, .csv, LaTeX, plain text, RTF and Markdown. Most formats can be downloaded directly or exported to Drive. The feature is now available to all Gemini app users globally.
