Google retires MusicFX, folds it into Flow Music

MusicFX and MusicFX DJ shut down on 31 July 2026, with Flow Music becoming Google's home for musical projects.
Google Labs is retiring MusicFX and MusicFX DJ on 31 July 2026, folding the work into Google Flow Music instead. The new tool is Google's home for creating, sharing and remixing original music, and Google says what it learned from the MusicFX experiments carries over into it as the long-term destination for musical projects.
