Google AI Studio can start an XR app from a prompt

AI Studio added XR Blocks so a prompt can start an interactive 3D app with hand tracking, tabletop physics, and holograms from text or photos.
On October 29, Google AI Studio posted support for XR Blocks, so you can prompt an interactive 3D app. The post lists hand tracking and pinch gestures, tabletop and wall physics, and 360-degree 3D holograms from text or photos.
XR Blocks is Google's open-source library for this kind of scene. Its docs describe samples that use hand gestures, a sense of the room, and Gemini. The AI Studio post is the claim that you can start those apps from a prompt in the studio, rather than only from the library.
The XR Blocks docs say the headset path is Chrome on Android XR, and that a desktop Chrome simulator can run without a headset. The October 29 post does not list a price, a region, or which AI Studio accounts can use it.
