Google says over 99% came from people who had never built an Android app before, no coding required.
More than 250,000 Android apps have been built in Google AI Studio since it added the ability to build native Android apps, according to Google. The company says likely more than 99% of those apps were made by people who had never built an Android app before, with no coding required.
Google frames the number against Android's installed base of over 3 billion active users, now reachable by anyone using the tool. Full details are in the original announcement.
