JetBrains agent sessions get assisted tool approvals, message re-editing, and organization-wide shared skills and instructions.

GitHub Copilot for JetBrains 1.18.0 adds three changes to agent sessions, as covered in this week's Copilot release notes.

Assisted approvals, now in public preview, automatically approve low-risk tool calls in agent sessions while still prompting for higher-risk actions.
You can re-edit an earlier message in an agent session; Copilot rewinds both the conversation and file changes before sending the replacement request.
Organization and enterprise skills, along with organization-managed custom instructions, now work in both local and Copilot agent sessions.
