Content exclusions generally available in Copilot app and CLI
The GitHub Copilot app and Copilot CLI now respect content exclusion policies configured by enterprise, organization, and repository administrators.
Content exclusions, previously available in some Copilot surfaces, are now generally available in the GitHub Copilot app and Copilot CLI. Files that enterprise, organization, or repository admins have excluded won't be used by Copilot as context, including in agentic workflows.
The feature is available to Copilot Business and Copilot Enterprise customers.
