Code scanning AI Scan enablement status in security overview

By Steven Van ·

Coverage filters and CSV exports let administrators track enabled and not enabled repositories across an organization or enterprise.

Organization and enterprise administrators can now check which repositories have AI Scan for pull requests enabled in GitHub’s security overview. The code scanning summary shows enabled and not enabled repository counts, with each repository’s effective status listed below.

What the status reflects

An enabled status accounts for enterprise policy, organization configuration, prerequisites and any repository opt-out. A not enabled status can include repositories that are ineligible for AI Scan, but the view does not identify why a repository is not enabled.

Filter and export coverage

Open the Security and quality tab for an organization or enterprise, then select Coverage. Click the enabled or not enabled counts to narrow the repository list, or use the search filters code-scanning-ai-scan-pr-scan:enabled and code-scanning-ai-scan-pr-scan:not-enabled.

Coverage CSV exports now include a “Code Scanning AI Scan for pull requests” column with enabled and not-enabled values.

Who can access the view

The documentation lists write access to repositories in the organization as the requirement for organization views. Enterprise views are available to organization owners and security managers.
